He lived all of his life in Bingham , Me. until his death on Feb. 25, 1862, His wife Nancy died 1864 in Bimgham, Maine also. We have been told we are Italian, French, German for some. He has been very rare in name to search for. In earliest references to him, he was a Hog Reeve, and School Agent and superintentdent in Bingham. Towm meetings were held at his house at times. It was written John "Tuskin" in the Bingham records we saw.. the only ones we we saw.. and are unable to know if there is more right now.. but we have looked for 2o years.. but he was called Tuskin from 1814 and 1818 at least and later his name was called Tuscan. Not we are not sure if the earlier ref. were misspellings of his name or he actually wrote it like that. I am seeking any and all information about Tuscans. .. to see where we came from.
